Gress Gruppen appoints Morten Gabrielsen to lead next phase of growth
Gress Gruppen AS, a leading strategic purchasing alliance for large-scale hospitality businesses in Norway, today announces the appointment of Morten Gabrielsen as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1st 2026
Morten brings more than 25 years of experience with REMA 1000, a Norwegian multinational discount grocery chain, where he held a range of senior leadership roles across logistics, category management and procurement. During this time, he developed deep expertise across supply chains, commercial operations and supplier partnerships.
In addition to executive leadership roles, Morten has extensive board-level experience, serving as a Chair and board member across a number of organisations within the food, retail and logistics sectors, including Bama Gruppen, Tradesolution and the Food Supply Preparedness Council (Rådet for Matvareberedskap). Most recently, Morten served as interim CFO at PostNord.
Morten succeeds Tor Tennvassås who is stepping down as CEO after five years in the role. The Board thanks Tor for his leadership and contribution over this period.
